Back Home in AZ

Wow! All I can say is...Boy it's HOT! I forgot how it can get here. The nights only get into the low 90's and the days a scorching 115 degrees! I can't wait for winter! LOL! Although it's hot enough to burn the eggs on the ground...it's so good to be here. So happy to know that this is home for a long time to come. It's only been a week or so and we still haven't done any exploring. Can't wait to spend a day on the river...a day in Oatman...so on and on. Pics to come for sure! Last night I managed to capture a glimpse of lightning - AWESOME!

Relocating

Can you believe it? Moving, again! Back to the hot AZ sun. I really can't wait...missin AZ..cheaper rent..etc..lol. Happy to get things started in a new place. AZ has the most amazing sunsets and I can't wait to share my new findings with my friends, family and fans. Hangin in there momentarily. Make your world a beautiful one! Smooches!

WOW!

What an adventure...everything I had planned in my mind flew completely out the window once I got to the shoot. I was so very nervous I couldn't think straight. I messed up a couple of shots, but for the most part, I got some great pictures! I sincerely hope the couple / family is happy with what I came up with. Once I relaxed a little, I was completely in my element...I just couldn't move around as fast as I wanted...I didn't want to miss ANYTHING! The grounds and house were amazingly beautiful, the flowers, the colors, the pool, the marble...simply extravagant! Definately a photographer's dream. For being my first time, it was fabulous! I am so grateful for the family to allow me to be a part of their day to expand my portfolio and experience. My friends and family have been SO supportive and wonderful - I am forever thankful. I can't wait for the next one!

Tomorrow is the BIG day!

Well....it's finally here....I have been waiting two very long weeks to make my dream a reality. My first wedding reception shoot is tomorrow afternoon. I couldn't be more excited and nervous than I am right now. My heart is pounding and the butterflies in my stomach are going crazy and it's only the night before. I know full well that I am my own worst critic and I just don't want to let myself down. This is the moment that will build my confidence and make me into someone that I never thought possible. I have the most amazing support team who cheer for me on a regular basis and I am so very grateful for their kind words of encouragement and love. I can't wait to share my work with you and see where this new road leads. Much love!

Making it all worth it!

 At what point, I wonder, do I get to call myself a professional? I certainly don't think of myself as one. Other's have said otherwise. All I know is that deep down, I know what I can do and when I take that ONE picture where I even amaze myself - do I then feel a sense of confidence. I absolutely LOVE what I do and I look forward to the future...trucking along. I am so very grateful for the support system that I do have...without them...where would I be? Next week is my first big party shoot...for little or no money - it will be worth it!
